As soon as we stepped foot on the Netherlands ground we felt something special in the air. Maybe it was the fact that we are on a vacation and everything feels better but we plan on getting there at least a couple of more times in this lifetime. We had a lot of luck with our hotel. Pubs are everywhere, people are having fun and all those narrow streets have a charm that gets under your skin quickly. Have a glass of famous beer or champagne and take a walk near the river. As you go along the streets, breathe deeply and soak all the experience in. Be patient as well. If the first night doesn’t meet your expectations the second is always better and so on.
When someone tries to tell you what do’s and don’ts in Amsterdam are, listen to them but don’t follow their advice blindly. It is all individual and it depends how far you are willing to go.
